SHIMANO RT-MT900 ROTOR FOR DISC BRAKE

DESCRIPTION

This RT-MT900 Center-Lock brake rotor by Shimano comes with a lockring that has a new type of external toothing. Based on the successful Ice Tech FREEZA rotors, the model has been revised and further developed, both in terms of heat dissipation and weight reduction. The 180 mm or 203 mm diameter versions are aimed specifically at enduro riders, while the 160 mm brake rotor is suitable for cross-country racing.

FREEZA ICE TECH

Ice-Technologies provide a fast heat dissipation at your disc brake. The brake pads are equipped with aluminum cooling fins. The brake disc is constructed using a sandwich technique in which stainless steel encloses an aluminum core. The stainless steel on both flanks ensures long durability, the aluminum allows heat dissipation. FREEZA is the further development of the brake disc, in which additional ribs in the aluminum provide even better heat compensation. This cooling technology provides consistently high braking performance and longer pad life while reducing fading and brake noise.
